The Business Development Representative is responsible for pursuing new prospects and qualifying them for Verity IT’s line of premium Managed IT and Managed IT Security services. The primary targeted market is defined as companies having between 10 and 500 devices, a device representing a computer, firewall, router, etc. The Business Development Representative is responsible for meeting Verity IT’s quota of end user seats by prospecting, identifying, qualifying closing opportunities with C-Level executives of small to mid-sized business (SMBs).
On-target earnings at 100% quota attainment in year one is $70,000. In year two, on-target earnings increase to $76,000 at 100% quota attainment. Earnings potential in uncapped.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Find and develop prospects by in person visits, phone based cold calling, and networking.
Become a trusted advisor with customers by learning their businesses, challenges, and risks.
Conduct onsite or online presentations that showcase the services and products of Verity IT to prospects.
Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions and manage prospect expectations.
Work with management to develop proposals.
Keep up with continuing education to improve your skills, product knowledge of the service offerings to move you towards your next career goal.
Perform sales procedures through activities and opportunities in CRM and PSA systems and remain compliant with defined policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate sales data and reports within CRM.
Share sales best practices and lessons learned.
Be an ambassador for Verity IT by actively promoting the brand through constant social network participation and other events.
Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience, hunters only.
Previous experience with developing own leads and prospecting for brand new business.
Prior experience selling in one of the following industries is a plus: Information Technology (IT) Services, IT Hardware, Software, SaaS or Cloud.
